SOMM Bistro à Vin isn’t just a wine bar, and it’s more than a restaurant – it’s a bistro with heart and a true passion for wine.
After eight years in Amsterdam, we found our dream location in beautiful Weesp: right in the historic center, along the canal, with a sunny terrace at the doorstep. Since opening our doors just over a year ago, it’s been a whirlwind – full of growth, discovery, creativity, and most importantly, joy.
We set out to create a place where gastronomy meets good times, without the pretense. Over the past year, we’ve experimented, tasted, adjusted, and listened. We realized we were drifting towards a fine dining experience, but that’s not what SOMM is meant to be. Our vision is a place that’s inviting for everyone, at any moment – whether you drop by for a quick glass of wine and a snack, or settle in for a memorable meal with friends.
